“Verao” means summer in Portuguese, and transmits all the good feelings connected with that season.
On one side there are two tracks. The original mix: a classy Samba Jazz which sounds just so radio friendly. The other take is an instrumental club-jazz where the guitar rises above to lead. The Latin feeling comes about cinematic though, almost as a score tune. The rich interpretation by the musicians is purely jazz but turns out more contemporary for injected with sound effects.
On the other side a strong Latin-House track, focused on percussions as opposed to the Samba Jazz vocals. It could sound hot on Ibiza’s dance floors. Particularly nice towards the end is the Trombone solo conversing with percussions.
