Fade Out Vision

Fade Out Vision debutted in 2003 with "Mother Heart" under the label Milano 2000. The rhythm section of the band is composed of Italian artists, each of whom is well known for having performed and still performing in numerous project. The only international artist is the American soul singer Kay Foster Jackson, a really active Recording artist extensively performing throughout Europe while participating in numerous Jazz, Gospel, and Blue festivals. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Kay has been positively impacted by the constant influences of world-renowned talent during her formative years. Her parents were musically gifted; her father is Melvin Jackson, tenor saxophonist accompanying the legendary B.B. King. Her mother, Mary Ann Jackson, was also a jazz vocalist and dancer who traveled extensively in bands that included Elvis Presley. The sax and flute player Gianni Azzali already had the opportunity to play together with Kay Foster. He started studying classical music but jazz and improvisation quickly became is real passion, and it brought to collaboration with numerous international and national artists such as Piero Bassini, Umberto Petrin, Gigi Cifarelli, Tony Scott, Massimo Manzi, Eric Marienthal.Jerry Bergonzi, Hal Crook and the singers Natalie Cole and Gwen Perry. The pianist and composer Giancarlo Tossani in his artistic career has been studying and playing with important names such as Luca Flores, Franco D’Andrea, Mal Waldron, John Taylor and many others. In January 2007 both the main Italian jazz magazine Musica Jazz and a pool of more than 60 critics (press, radio) have voted him “best new italian talent 2006”. The only guest in the album is the drummer Gianni Lo Greco, who, already active in the greenhouse of Schema Records for having produced, together with his brother Enzo, several albums under the pseudonyms of Soulstance, Quintetto Lo Greco, Quartetto Lo Greco.
